Empyre Water Co LLC (“Empyre Water Co,” “we,” “us”) is a Colorado limited liability company based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This policy explains what we collect through empyrewater.com and what we do with it.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Name, phone number, email address, service address or city, water source, and anything you type into a form or message.
- Information collected automatically. IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and pages viewed. This may be collected by analytics and advertising tools including our customer relationship platform and, where enabled, advertising pixels.
- Service records. If you become a customer: water test results, equipment installed, service history, and billing records.
How we use it
- To contact you about a water test or quote you requested
- To schedule, perform and document work at your property
- To send service reminders when a filter interval is due
- To meet permitting, warranty, tax and legal obligations
- To improve our website and measure our advertising
Calls, texts and email
If you check the consent box on a form, you agree we may call and text you at the number you gave us about your request, including through automated systems. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message. We will still contact you about work in progress at your property.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, under contract, and only for that purpose: our customer relationship and scheduling platform, our email and text delivery providers, payment processors, and the licensed plumbing contractor performing your installation. We also disclose information where required by law.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for payment.
Cookies and advertising
This site may use cookies and similar technologies for basic function, analytics, and advertising measurement. Most browsers let you refuse cookies. Where we run advertising on third-party platforms, those platforms may set their own cookies subject to their own policies. You can opt out of many interest-based ads at optout.aboutads.info.
Your Colorado privacy rights
Under the Colorado Privacy Act, Colorado residents have the right to: confirm whether we process your personal data and access it; correct inaccuracies; delete it; obtain a portable copy; and opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or profiling with legal effects. You may appeal a denial of any request.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will verify your identity before acting and will respond within the time the law allows.
Retention and security
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet warranty, tax and legal requirements, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No system is perfectly secure and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll post the revised version here with a new date.
